The Phillips County Sheriff’s Office started its long history of service to the residents of Phillips County when it was created in 1889. The Sheriff’s Office is located in the County Seat of Holyoke, Colorado next to the Phillips County Courthouse. Phillips County encompasses over 680 square miles of agricultural land and plains. The county includes the City of Holyoke, the towns of Haxtun, Amherst, and Paoli.
The Sheriff’s Office is responsible for conducting all aspects of law enforcement operations in our community. At present, the Sheriff’s Office is comprised of 4 full-time sworn personnel (Sheriff, Undersheriff, and 2 Patrol Deputies), 2 sworn reserve deputies, and 1 Administrative Assistant who also serves as the Director of the Victim’s Advocate program for Phillips and Sedgwick Counties.
