and to set the standards for law enforcement professionals dedicated to

and to Serve the citizens with loyalty, integrity, professionalism, and pride.

We are available to:
·Detect, apprehend, and process persons involved in criminal activity
·Respond to calls for service
·Deter criminal activity
·Ensure safe and expeditious movement of traffic
·Protect property; recover and return lost or stolen property
·Provide follow-up investigation of offenses when required
·Identify and help mitigate hazards to the safety of the community
Officer involved shooting:
In the event of a Deputy involved shooting, the Phillips County Sheriff will bring in an outside agency to investigate per Senate Bill 15-219. This agency will be the Colorado Bureau of Investigation or any other agency at the request of the Sheriff.
